Getting started
Is Zhaimer free to play?
Yes. Zhaimer is completely free to play directly in your browser. No purchase, subscription, or download is required. If you enjoy the game, you can optionally support its development through the donation link in the footer.
Do I need to create an account?
No account or sign-up is required for the current browser experience. Just open the game and start playing. Your local stats (games played, wins, best score) are saved automatically in your browser.
Can I play on my phone?
Yes. Zhaimer's interface is fully responsive and adapts automatically to phones, tablets, and desktop screens. It works in any modern browser — Chrome, Safari, Edge, or Firefox.
Do I need to install anything?
No installation is required to play in your browser. You can also "Add to Home Screen" from your mobile browser's menu for a faster, app-like way to open Zhaimer.
Which browsers are supported?
Zhaimer works on all modern browsers, including:

Will there be an Android app?
An Android version is planned for a future release. For now, Zhaimer plays smoothly in any Android browser and can be added to your home screen.
Will there be an iPhone version?
An iOS version is planned for a future release. In the meantime, Zhaimer works fully in Safari and other iOS browsers.
Is Zhaimer available in Arabic?
Yes. Both the website and the game itself fully support English and Arabic — use the language switch in the menu or footer at any time.
Gameplay
What is the goal of the game?
Finish each round with the lowest total card value in your hand. Low cards help you; high cards should be swapped or discarded when possible. Points accumulate across rounds — reaching 100 points eliminates a player from the match.
How many players can play at once?
Zhaimer supports 2 to 5 players per match. You can play solo against AI opponents of varying difficulty, or create a private room to play online with friends using a room code.
What do the special cards do?
Certain ranks trigger special powers when drawn — for example, peeking at a hidden card, blindly swapping cards with an opponent, or protecting your hand. Full details are on the How to Play page.
Can opponents see my cards?
No. Zhaimer is built around genuinely hidden information — face-down cards stay hidden from opponents at all times, including during swaps and special-card effects. Only card positions may become visible when a swap happens; the actual value and suit never are, unless the game's rules specifically reveal them to you.
Online multiplayer
How does online play work?
Online multiplayer (creating a room and sharing a code with friends) is currently under development. In the meantime, you can play solo against AI opponents of varying difficulty.
Is there a limit to room size?
Rooms currently support up to 5 players, matching the maximum for a single match.
Themes and customization
Can I change how the game looks?
Yes. Zhaimer includes multiple visual themes (Memory Lab, Secret Agent, Holographic Table, Living Table). You can let the game pick one randomly for every match, or choose a fixed theme from the menu — this only changes appearance, never the rules.
Support and privacy
Is my data safe?
Zhaimer stores minimal local data (your name, language preference, and local stats) directly in your browser. See the Privacy Policy for full details.
How can I support the project?
